Isn’t this Fattoush Salad so pretty? I just love the colors with the pop of bright pomegranate seeds mixed into this Fattoush Salad bowl. So easy to put together, eating the rainbow doesn’t get better than this! This simple Lebanese salad with lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, spring onions, green bell peppers and mint is a hearty salad combined with toasted pita chips. I had a big of pita chips to toss over the salad but you can toast a pita bread and break it into little pieces instead.
A Fattoush Salad dressing is usually a lemon vinaigrette but I added some pomegranate molasses to for some sweetness and tartness to the flavor. You can find pomegranate molasses in the middle eastern section of the grocery store. I found some in my local Mariano’s store. It’s a great refreshing salad and I hope you get to make it sometime, don’t forget the side of kebabs though!
Happy and clean eats!
